ARCA IS PROTECTION
This multi-section protective shelter allows students, staff, and passersby to always stay nearby and remain safe.
Durable Materials: Built from high-grade reinforced concrete, the shelter ensures maximum reliability and long-term durability.
Enhanced Blast Resistance: A specialized polymer coating significantly increases the structural resistance to explosions.
Safety Features & Equipment: The shelter is equipped with reinforced airtight doors, seating benches, a fire extinguisher, a universal first-aid kit, electrical wiring, a fan heater, and forced ventilation.
Amenities: The package includes a desk, a Wi-Fi router, a recuperator, and glass embrasures made of Class 6+ multilayer armored glass. A 50-year warranty on the reinforced concrete structure guarantees its exceptional quality and long-term durability.
WHY ARCA?
We first developed ARCA to safeguard our youth, but our commitment to wider safety led us to scale these protection hubs for the benefit of all citizens.
ARCA fortifications are multi-section, multi-purpose shelters designed for both civilian and military use. They were engineered by top-tier specialists and have undergone rigorous field and physical testing at the State Research Institute of Building Structures in Kyiv. The structures are built to withstand an air blast overpressure of nearly 850 kPa.
The walls are crafted using a patented steel fiber reinforced concrete formula.
The structure features heavy-duty reinforcement with rebar up to 18 mm in diameter and staggered reinforcing meshes. These meshes are offset so that the intersections of one mesh align with the openings of another. This is complemented by a high-strength internal concrete mix and metal fiber filler.
The shelter is quickly assembled from individual prefabricated blocks. These units are joined by welded seams designed to be cut or ground down, allowing for multiple assembly and disassembly cycles. The unit can be installed on the ground surface, or be partially or fully buried.
